Robert Yarish, 17, Victim Of Crash On Route 88

A 17-year-old Crucible youth was killed in a one-car accident early this morning on Route 88, near Carmichaels in which two companions were critically injured. The victim, Roberty Anthony Yarish, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Yarish was pronounced dead at the scene of the wreck by Greene County Deputy Coroner Michael Lucas, of Carmichaels. Death was attributed to a fractured skull, fractured neck and internal injuries.

State police from the Waynesburg barracks said Yarish was riding in a car which for reasons yet unknown left Route 88, traveled some distance along the side of the road and then crashed into a tree. The vehicle was demolished.

Police said the driver of the car was Howard R. Bradman Jr., 20. of Cumberland Village Carmichaels. He suffered a bad head injury and was taken to Greene County Memorial Hospital, Waynesburg, where this morning his condition was reported as critical. A second passenger, Francis Dudzinski, 21, Carmichaels, suffered two broken legs and other possible injuries and was also admitted to Greene County Memorial Hospital. His condition is also critical. Police said the accident happened at 1:40 a.m. about 6 1/2 miles south of Carmichaels.
