Walter Paul Lipchinsky, 66, of 44 River Ave., Masontown, died Sunday, Sept. 20, 1992, in Veterans' Hospital, Oakland, Pittsburgh.
He was born April 7, 1926, in Grindstone, son of the late Mike and Mary Regula Lipchinsky. He was predeceased by two sisters and a brother; Sophie Payson, Stella Borytsky, Bernard Lipchinsky. He was a retired assistant mine superintendent from Buckeye Coal Company's Nemacolin Mine, World War II veteran, serving with the US Army, and an insurance salesman for American General Life.
He is survived by his wife, Irene Seginack Lipchinsky; two sons: Paul Lipchinsky of Masontown and Tom Lipchinsky of Uniontown; four grandchildren; brothers and sisters; Joseph Lipchinsky of Michigan, Mrs. Richard (Edith) Caligairi of Pittsburgh, Mrs. Joseph (Marie) Hatalla of Nemacolin, and Mrs. Steve (Betty) Hoist of Masontown; nieces and nephews.
