In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Paula Lux Zavatchan, Shari Lux Maida; brother-in-law, Paul Zavatchan; and sister-in-law, Rita Sullivan Lux.
She was a member of St. Therese Roman Catholic Church in Uniontown, a graduate of Uniontown High School, attended the University of Indiana, Pa., and was employed by Scaifs of Oakmont during the Korean War, but devoted her life to her family. She also composed many songs for children.
She is survived by her husband, Robert E. Buzonas; daughters, Mitzi Buzonas Dornberger of Tennessee, and Joanne Buzonas, at home; a brother, Geza Lux Jr., of Hopwood, Pa.; a sister, Mitzi Lux Austin of Hawaii; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the STEPHEN R. HAKY FUNERAL HOME INC., at Sylvan Heights Cemetery, A Dignity Memorial Provider, 603 North Gallatin Ave., Ext., Uniontown, on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and on Friday until 9 a.m., when Prayers of Transit will be said, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m., at St. Therese R.C. Church, with the Rev. Kenneth G. Zaccagnini as celebrant. Interment to follow at Oak Lawn Cemetery, Uniontown.The Herald Standard 2004
