Mary Jaqueline Torok
State inspector formerly of Carmichaels
Mary Jacqueline Torok, 87, of Vermilion, Ohio, formerly of Carmichaels, died Thursday, May 23, 2002, in Kingston of Vermilion.
She was born February 2, 1915, in Royal, a daughter of George and Anna Gergel Cormack.
Mrs. Torok worked as a Pennsylvania inspector for cosmetologists, barbershops and pharmacies.
She was a member of St. Hugh Catholic Church in Carmichaels and its Altar and Rosary Society.
Her husband, John Torok Jr., died in 1959.
Surviving are a son, John G. Torok of Avon Lake, Ohio; a daughter, Rosemary Philips of Lehigh, Fla.; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Catherine Swinchock of Waynesburg and Agnes Toth of Carmichaels.
Deceased are four sisters, Margaret Kikta, Anne Burvan, Pauline Savanick and Helen Dorricott; and four brothers, John, Edward, George and Frank Cormack.
